Custom-made for DIGI.
Built to scale across Romania.
Created for the DIGI Store at AFI Brașov, this installation is part of a growing nationwide retail concept. This is already the 7th location featuring our custom-made lighting elements — with many more to follow across Romania.
More than lighting, these oversized suspended pieces become part of the architecture. Their scale, rhythm and warm diffused light give each store a distinctive identity while maintaining a recognizable visual language across locations.

Design That Draws Attention
Created as a family of different-sized forms, the lamps work together as one sculptural installation. Their scale makes them immediately noticeable — even from outside the store — turning a functional element into a memorable part of the interior.

Large-Scale 3D Printed
The translucent shades were produced using large-scale 3D printing, allowing us to create custom dimensions and forms beyond the limitations of conventional manufacturing.
The printing layers are intentionally visible. When illuminated, they create subtle patterns and textures, giving each piece its own character.
Texture Becomes Design
The close-up reveals one of our favorite details: the manufacturing process itself becomes part of the aesthetics.
The visible 3D printed layers form a unique concentric texture, enhanced by light from within. Instead of hiding how an object is made, we make it part of its identity.

Recyclable by Design
The 3D printed elements are made from recyclable thermoplastic. Additive manufacturing places material only where it is needed, significantly reducing production waste.
The thermoplastic can also be shredded and reprocessed, allowing material to return to the production cycle instead of becoming waste.
From Production to Installation
One concept. Multiple locations. Complete execution.
Hippoplus handles the production, assembly, transport and on-site installation of the lighting elements, ensuring consistent quality from one location to the next.
With seven DIGI locations already completed and more to come across Romania, the project demonstrates how large-scale 3D printing can combine custom design with repeatable production — without losing its unique character.
