Delivery, Production & Installation Policy

Last updated: 05. 06. 2026

At Hippoplus, every project is manufactured to order. Because we specialize in custom large-scale 3D printing, design, engineering, and fabrication, each project follows a structured process from concept to delivery.

This policy explains how production, delivery, and installation are managed.

1. Custom Manufacturing

Most Hippoplus products are custom-made specifically for each client.

As a result:

- Production begins only after project approval.
- Manufacturing schedules are established individually.
- Lead times vary depending on project complexity, size, materials, and current production capacity.
- Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but may be adjusted when necessary.

Because each project is unique, no two production schedules are exactly the same.

2. Project Approval

Before production begins, clients may be asked to review and approve:

- Drawings;
- Dimensions;
- Renderings;
- Technical specifications;
- Materials;
- Colors;
- Installation requirements.

Once approval has been provided, production may begin.

The client is responsible for carefully reviewing all information before approval.

Any changes requested after approval may result in:

- Additional costs;
- Additional design work;
- Production delays;
- Revised delivery schedules.

3. Production Lead Times

Production timelines depend on several factors, including:

- Project size;
- Material availability;
- Production complexity;
- Finishing requirements;
- Transportation logistics;
- Installation requirements.

Estimated production times are provided for planning purposes and should not be interpreted as guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed in writing.

 4. Material Availability

Hippoplus uses a variety of materials, including thermoplastics, composite materials, concrete, clay, and specialty materials.

In rare situations, production schedules may be affected by:

- Supplier delays;
- Material shortages;
- Import restrictions;
- Transportation disruptions;
- Force majeure events.

Should such circumstances occur, clients will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.

 5. Manufacturing Tolerances

Due to the nature of large-scale additive manufacturing and custom fabrication, products may exhibit:

- Minor dimensional tolerances;
- Visible layer structures;
- Surface texture variations;
- Color variations between batches;
- Minor finishing differences.

These characteristics are inherent to the manufacturing process and do not constitute defects.

Where critical tolerances are required, they must be agreed upon in writing before production begins.

 6. Delivery

Products may be:

- Collected by the client;
- Delivered by Hippoplus;
- Delivered through third-party logistics providers.

Delivery methods are determined individually for each project.

The client is responsible for ensuring that:

- The delivery address is accurate;
- Adequate access is available;
- Site conditions permit unloading;
- Any required permits or permissions have been obtained.

Additional charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed due to site-related issues beyond our control.

 7. Inspection Upon Delivery

Clients are encouraged to inspect products immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage, missing components, or delivery issues should be reported as soon as possible and preferably before installation or use.

Photographs and supporting documentation may be requested to facilitate resolution.

8. Installation Services

Where installation services are included, Hippoplus will coordinate installation according to the agreed project scope.

Installation schedules may depend on:

- Site readiness;
- Weather conditions;
- Access requirements;
- Third-party contractors;
- Safety requirements.

Delays caused by factors outside our control may require rescheduling.

9. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

- Providing accurate project information;
- Providing accurate dimensions where applicable;
- Ensuring site accessibility;
- Obtaining required permits and approvals;
- Ensuring structural suitability of the installation location where relevant;
- Reviewing and approving project documentation.

Hippoplus shall not be responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the client.

10. Storage of Completed Products

Once production is completed, clients may be notified that products are ready for collection, delivery, or installation.

If products are not collected or delivery cannot be arranged within a reasonable period, storage fees may apply.

Long-term storage arrangements must be agreed upon in advance.

 11. Delays Beyond Our Control

Hippoplus shall not be liable for delays resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

- Force majeure events;
- Extreme weather;
- Natural disasters;
- Transportation disruptions;
- Supplier failures;
- Labor shortages;
- Government restrictions;
- Utility interruptions.

In such situations, delivery schedules may be adjusted accordingly.

# 12. International Deliveries

For international projects, clients may be responsible for:

- Customs procedures;
- Import duties;
- Taxes;
- Local compliance requirements;
- Site-specific permits.

Specific responsibilities will be clarified during project planning.

13. Communication

We believe successful projects depend on clear communication.

Clients are encouraged to maintain regular communication throughout the design, production, delivery, and installation phases to ensure the best possible outcome.
